ClassicLine Insurance is delighted to be supporting our friends at the Surrey Mustang Owners Club and attending 60 Years of Ford Mustang on Saturday 20th April 2024.

To mark the 60th anniversary of the Ford Mustang in 2024, this celebratory event is open to all Ford Mustang owners and other American cars. Held at the birthplace of British motorsport and aviation, Brooklands Museum, Weybridge, visitors can expect to enjoy famous car displays, American vehicle traders, food vendors, live music, and a commemorative display of iconic Ford Mustangs.

As the world’s first purpose-built motor racing circuit, Brooklands Museum dates back to 1907 and today houses heritage motorsport buildings, museum collections, aircraft factory buildings, and sections of the original ‘Ascot of Motorsport’ racetrack. Admission to the event enables visitors to tour the museum and heritage collections, walk on the lowest section of the racetrack, and even take a trip on board Concorde. Albeit from ground level!

With over 350 American cars booked for the event so far, including 200 from Surrey Mustang Owners Club members who will be taking pole position on the famous finishing straight, it’s set to be a very special celebration. Other clubs and societies will be supporting including Simply Mustangs, Mustangs Unleashed, Mustang Owners Club of Great Britian, Mopar Muscle Association, Classic Corvette Club UK, South Coast Cop Cars, and a collection of Harley’s by the Hogs Back Chapter of the Harley Owners Group.

The event will welcome a collection of classic British Street Rods, including Nick Butler creations ‘Andromeda’, ‘Nykilodeon’, ‘Vitamin-T’, and ‘Revenge’.
